As a Tex-patriot now living in California (I know, I know, not even a good reason for it except I can’t get my wife to move back there. Forgive me) anyway, I always look for things that make me more homesick. Chili recipes, anything with a lone star on it, bars with Shiner on tap, or walking the streets after parades in search of something to step in, just so my boots don’t resent being here too. This hat fits the bill and my attitude.
